Visiting With Family and Friends

After a very long week, Juliann and I were really looking forward to the weekend. Jules was feeling better after getting over a cold, David was coming home after a week in Dallas for work, and we also had plans to spend some time with family and friends. We got up early Saturday morning and headed to Lexington to see Grandma Ellington and Uncle Peter.

Then on Sunday one of my college roommates, Kelly, came down to visit. We hung out, had lunch, and went to Bass Pro to make David happy!

The start of this week was a bit rough, Jules was pretty sick on Monday and had a high fever. After a long night with little sleep, I stayed home from work for the second Tuesday in a row to be with my sick little girl. She was much better today and I was able to go to work. Let's hope that whatever she's had for the last two weeks is finally out of her system!
