Catching Up

A lot has happened over the last month and I'm just not able to keep up!  I don't take as many pictures as I used to and there's no time to upload them, much less post a blog.  Here's a quick recap of the last month:

Just after Joselynn turned 1 month, the girls and I headed to Amherst to visit Mimi and Pop-pop while David went down to Charlotte to visit his brother for his bachelor party.  Jules had a blast playing basket ball with Pop-pop and Sugars got to meet Joselynn.

On our way home, we stopped by the hospital to see Stephanie and meet Emma Grace!  She was born 1 month and 1 day after Joselynn.

The following weekend we attended David's cousin's wedding.  David's family was in town for the wedding and Jules had a great time with her Oma and Opa and Josie got to meet her Uncle Peter and Aunt Anne.  The following morning we had brunch at the Jefferson.  YUM!  Jules really liked the crocodile out front!

Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Patrick LaBaugh!

On Mother's Day I was doubly blessed this year and David got me a new laptop to thank me for all that I do for our family.  :)  I started back to work on the 11th and so far things have been going well.  Mornings are NOT easy but we're managing.  Luckily it's only for 4 weeks so the craziness won't last too much longer.  One thing that made my first week back at work much brighter was seeing Joselynn with a genuine smile.  My girls melt my heart!

One of my college roomies who now lives in Seattle came into town at the end of that week and got to meet Joselynn.  Unfortunately, David had our camera so I borrowed a friends and haven't been able to uploaded those pictures yet-Sorry Britt!!!!

This past week I dropped Jules off with Mimi then David, Josie and I made the 8+ hour car ride up to Cincinnati for Peter and Anne's wedding.  We made it up in time on Thursday to enjoy a BBQ then David golfed on Friday morning with the other groomsmen while I had my nails done and attended the Bridal Luncheon before the Rehearsal and dinner that evening.  Saturday morning was pretty low key before Peter and Anne became Mr. and Mrs. that afternoon.  The wedding was BEAUTIFUL and we had a wonderful time celebrating with Peter and Anne. Congrats to the new couple! We love you!

Joselynn also turned 2 months old on Sunday and at her most recent check-up she weighed in at 10.5 pounds and a little over 22 inches long.  She's in the 50th% and doing well, with the exception of having Reflux.  They put her on some medicine and we're seeing a slight difference.  On the positive side, she's sleeping well at night-I actually got 7 hours straight yesterday!

I hope this post finds everyone doing well.  Please enjoy a safe but happy Memorial Day holiday!
