Independence Day

On July 1st, Jules turned 5 months old! It's so hard to believe how quickly time has passed. She's growing like a weed and doing something new every day! She's just discovered taggies (although, anything can be turned into a new toy to chew on) and is rolling both ways now-yay! She wants to be independent and tries to sit up or stand but still needs to be supported. I think we're a ways off from crawling but she would love to be mobile!

We spent the holiday weekend down at Smith Mountain Lake with my family and David's family. We all went out on the boat and ate lots of wonderful food! Jules really enjoyed seeing both sets of grandparents, her great aunt and uncle and aunt Heather.

It's funny how one little girl can make 8+ adults act downright stupid just trying to get a smile or laugh! Just watch the video below of her granddads and you'll see what I mean!

We leave on Friday for my brother's wedding and then fly out to Colorado for a week. I'm a little nervous about flying with Jules, but we'll see how it goes. Wish us luck!
