Working 9 to 5....
Or in our case, 7:30 to 3:30. Today was d-day. Juliann spent her first full day at the sitters and I went to work. After a very busy day, we are both exhausted! Surprisingly, I didn't cry-I was way too busy! Having so much to do was actually a good thing-kept me from being emotional. The kids were great and happy to see me and everything seemed to run pretty smoothly. The sitter also said Jules was fabulous (although, I'm sure she would have lied and told me the same thing if she had been a hellion) and was really going to enjoy keeping her. I have a lot to do tonight, and am worried about pulling off the miracle that occurred this morning every morning for the next 6 weeks! Let's hope! Okay....off to do more work. Obviously the job of a teacher (and a parent) never ends. I think the saying should be something more like "working all day and all night" because that is obviously more realistic of my two chosen professions.
